It is my pleasure to write this unsolicited letter of recommendation. Nic and Wes was the general contractor for a home improvement project on the interior of my HDB Flat in 2014. While major remodeling is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, their services as a general contractor were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final result. Specifically in the following areas:

1. Quality of work performed. The quality of work done was consistently top notch. Project manager used subcontractors who were knowledgeable, skilled, and competent in their respective trades. They were conscientious about following project specifications, and their work product rarely needed refinements.

2. Quality of work was professional, reliable, courteous, and respectful of the homeowner’s property and privacy. Their pride in their work was evident. They tidied up at the end of each workday ensuring site visits were conducive and safe.

3. Project management and coordination was effective and planned. Overseeing details from start to finish. Strong organizational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled Nic and Wes to juggle the extensive details involved in our project without missing a beat.

4. Working within the agreed budget was a strength of Nic and Wes. Alternative solutions was always offered during escalating renovation cost of unforeseen events. I was pleased with the management of funds during the final phrase of the project.

Nic & Wes was very professional. Their in-house designer Bob was very thorough in his work and even gave up his weekends to look for fixtures and tiles at several shops with us so we could get the best deals. Their in-house contractor Asake also did an great job, and he knew exactly what we wanted, like customised lighting settings and a statement stripe kitchen floors with little spaces between the tiles.

We also changed the position of our build-in living room cabinets at the very last minute, and wanted the television mounted on them with a movable wall mount. We were able to successfully plan it out, and Bob and Askae created a statement look for our living room.

Even their after-care service is excellent. We had a few hiccups after the reno like cracked paint and painted white walls which did not match the original colour by HDB, and it was fixed within a few days. They respond very quickly and are contactable at all times.

A word about Nic & Wes... It's been a PLEASURE. From the beginning of the process, it has been apparent to us that we are going to get something unique to us. Planning has been very detailed and they have gone to great extents to understand our lifestyle. From design to space planning to material choices, Nic & Wes spared nothing to ensure that the finished product not only are tailored to our needs, but also a home that harmonises the right elements. Has it been a smooth experience? Considering the multiple changes that we made along the way, which Nic & Wes gladly accommodated, I consider it a fantastic one.
